compare 2 coffee shops
I don't like coffee, so I really don't know about coffee shops. I think all the coffee shops in the world are pretty same because most of them have same kind of coffee. It differs how big those are. For example, Starbucks in Korea and Starbucks in Seattle are very same, even interior inside. However, only size of coffee shops are different. I don't know about Starbucks too much. I have tried several times coffee of Starbucks in both Korean and Seattle, I couldn't feel anything different Seattle coffee shop compared to Korea. Therefore, there is nothing different from most of coffee shops.

" are pretty similar" You need to try some cafes in WEst SEattle that are not part of a chain. Take the #128 bus (to Admiral District) and get off in "the Junction" (the corner of Alaska and California Streets) Try Cupcake Royal or Coffee to a Tea, both of which are independently owned.
